About The Position

The position of Warehouse Worker 04 involves performing a wide range of warehousing activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping merchandise. The worker will receive, unload, and process incoming shipments, report any discrepancies, and manage warehouse space effectively. Responsibilities also include completing shipping and receiving reports, routing merchandise to correct locations, and maintaining inventory accuracy. Requirements

• Must be able to read and comprehend English and write legibly.
• Must be able to apply basic math skills.
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry supplies, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Usually works indoors, occasionally outdoors, with exposure to cuts, scrapes, and bruises.

Nice To Haves

• Experience handling, storing, and shipping materials or supplies.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Experience accessing information on a computer and reviewing documents for accuracy.
• 1 year equivalent experience as a warehouse worker 3 in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of warehousing activities including receiving, storing, and shipping merchandise.
• Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments/trucks.
• Report over, short, or damaged conditions.
• Understand space issues and manage warehouse areas as needed.
• Complete and sign shipping and receiving reports.
• Route merchandise to correct locations or storage areas.
• Stack, rotate, and mark/price stock according to standard procedures.
• Count types and quantities of items during inventories.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning floors and fixtures.
• Assist in taking inventories at required intervals.
• Welcome customers and maintain product knowledge.
• React quickly to customer concerns and communicate product availability.
• Comply with established safety standards and loss prevention policies.
• Perform other related duties as required.
