About The Position

The Warehouse Weekend Position in Atlanta involves working on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 am to 4 pm. The primary responsibility of the warehouse person is to tow and empty trash and cardboard carts as they fill throughout the shift. This position is suitable for individuals entering the workforce or returning with limited experience and education.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of similar work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial lift and/or tugger to assist in loading or moving materials for yardage
• Bale cardboard, run a trash compactor, and operate a tow tractor to keep production running smoothly
• Use computer, read work orders, or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
• Load materials and/or buggies into trailers and/or trucks
• Install strapping or chains to prevent shifting or damage while in transit
• Print necessary labels and manifests
• Transport buggies from work sites to designated area
• Load and unload full or empty buggies
• Use the computer to keep a current list of available buggies
• Perform janitorial duties such as emptying trash cans, cleaning restrooms, and scrubbing floors
