About The Position

The Warehouse Coordinator I is responsible for performing various warehousing functions including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and forklift operation. This role ensures the timely delivery of products while maintaining safety and quality standards within the warehouse environment. The coordinator assists in quality and safety-related functions and communicates effectively with customers as a representative of the company.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Forklift Certification.
• TWIC Card (preferred).
• Current Basic OSHA Safety Training (preferred).
• Good customer service skills with a positive attitude.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Effective time management skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude including knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily forklift inspection and perform routine forklift operation.
• Receive, verify products received, and stock per quality procedures within the Company ERP System.
• Pull inventory items, verify product, package, stage, and/or ship inventory items as requested per company quality procedures.
• Safely secure load prior to and during operation of a company vehicle during inventory pickup and delivery.
• Enter Freight Charges and Ship Confirm orders.
• Verify delivery tickets to ensure shipping instructions match the customer's purchase order and sales order.
• Maintain the company trucks, including check-in, check-out, maintenance, and inspections.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean and safe working condition.
• Attend weekly training as permitted by work schedule.
• Report any safety, shipping, delivery, or inventory issues to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe manner in accordance with all state and local driving regulations.
