About The Position

The Warehouse Utility 1 is responsible for the repack of products that have damaged packaging from trade or warehouse handling, maintaining a clean warehouse and sorting product or shells. Your day will involve identifying products that are in good sellable condition to be included in the repack business process procedure, accounting for and reporting all products that need to be destroyed and recuperated through the recycling process, and following guidelines pertaining to the repack processes that include date coding, cleaning, taping, gluing, and testing package integrity. You will also maintain package quality and integrity while performing duties in a timely and efficient manner, operate pallet jack and forklift safely, and maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area.

Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 years old
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
  • Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
  • Less than high school education; or up to 1-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and teamwork
  • Ability to provide quality management

Responsibilities

  • Follow written and oral instructions
  • Load miscellaneous items, stack pallets and shells
  • Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
