About The Position
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Scans in finished product through use of computer to proper lanes in warehouse. Does weekly inventory of warehouse to check for any misplaced product. Makes visual inspection for possible improper packing or similar issues with pack. Report any found problems with packed product to shipping manager. Ensure that proper handling techniques are used to avoid damages. Insure that proper ticketing procedures are used to identify each product and that each product on each order is accounted for. Follow all recommended safety precautions for unloading or loading of products and personal injury. Computer scans and verifies all products when loaded out of warehouse onto trucks. Assists as needed in other departments as orders or absentees requires. Work as a team to insure goals and customer requirements are met. Must be able to operate a Forklift. Able to operate Intuitive procedures for shipment via the established written policy. Able to audit shipment and correct any previous errors on the dock. Able to run Smart BOL that interacts with Intuitive to complete shipping process paperwork. Use as is the final three duties as already on freight roller. Assist in pulling supplies whether it is raw materials for Plant 2/4 or hardware for the assembly plants. Know the process of receiving in and taking out; inventory adjustment and shop floor move, in both raw material and hardware areas. Able to fill in and deliver supplies to warehouse. Able to fill in and assist in making pickups for receiving and purchasing supplies. Able to assist in making chair pickups at outlying locations as well as checking chairs into and out of the warehouse.
