Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED with relevant experience.
  • A current forklift certification with full proficiency in operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
  • At least 3 years of training experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • A minimum of 1 year of hands-on forklift experience.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and a strong understanding of warehouse best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to mentor, coach, and lead others.
  • A collaborative spirit and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • The physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a variety of warehouse conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with Blue Yonder, RedPrairie, or Körber.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive, engaging training sessions for all warehouse staff, covering everything from foundational skills to advanced procedures.
  • Mentor and coach Warehouse Leads and Senior Forklift Operators, helping to foster their career progression.
  • Coordinate and manage training schedules, skills assessments, and job shadowing for all new hires and existing staff.
  • Collaborate with leadership and HR to identify training needs and develop site-specific materials.
  • Support safety and compliance initiatives by delivering relevant training and ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a positive employee relations culture and work with other teams to maintain a high-performance environment.
  • Be prepared to travel up to 10% of the time to other CJ facilities to support training needs.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $51,000 to $63,000 per year.
