About The Position

The position involves overseeing various operational aspects of inventory control, on-time shipments, supply ordering, and warehouse training. The role requires a strong focus on leadership and management practices, fostering an improvement mindset, and ensuring that all stock is managed effectively and efficiently. The individual will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of inventory, ensuring timely shipments, managing supply orders, and training new team members in the company's culture and processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all stock is being put away on-time, correctly, and in the approved locations
• Maintain integrity of the inventory, measuring and minimizing inventory loss
• Manage inventory count schedule, assign counting duties, and verify results
• Log and locate 'Cannot Finds' and determine the root cause of their occurrence and facilitate the solving of those issues for good
• Ensure all orders ship on time or early
• Proactively communicate with sales/accounting regarding any possible issues
• Maintain relationships with shippers
• Oversee a regular inventory of supplies necessary for processing and warehouse needs
• Delegate weekly counts to ensure par levels are in accordance with expectations with special consideration made for upcoming projects
• Create and maintain relationships with our vendors
• Onboard new team members into our UET and EOS culture
• Train new team members in job-specific processes as documented in The UET Way, including evaluation/assessment
• Provide one-to-one coaching to improve efficiency and quality performance
• Troubleshoot efficiency and quality issues, working with team members and direct reports to identify the root cause and remedy it for good.
