About The Position

The Production Technician in the Heat Seal Department is responsible for efficiently completing basic order fulfillment tasks. This role ensures that all assigned tasks are carried out according to established company policies and procedures, while meeting or exceeding quality and productivity standards. The technician also ensures that related documentation is accurate and complete.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and provide assistance when needed to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Keep management updated on department activities and promptly report any significant issues or concerns, offering suggestions for improvement.
• Perform assembly tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Follow and uphold established quality and safety standards throughout the production process.
• Consistently meet project deadlines.
• Inspect work upon completion to ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Take responsibility for any additional duties as required or assigned by supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, secure, and organized work area.
• Work alongside machine operators in a fast-paced environment, gaining the skills to operate machines independently.
• Operate heat press equipment as needed.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
• Prepare finished products according to customer specifications, including trimming excess threads, removing backing materials, and packaging the final product accurately.
• Flexibility to rotate between departments and assist on an as-needed basis.
