Job Description Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Operational Services Division as a Warehouse Technician. This job consists of performing the processes and procedures that are needed to fulfill all customer orders and requests. This is done under general supervision.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in a positive manner with branches, agents, and departments.
• Ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge may be required.
• A chauffeur’s license and a satisfactory driving record may be required.
• Ability to maintain a professional image.

Nice To Haves

• CDL license would be valuable
• Able to safely operate materials handling equipment
• Basic knowledge of the SAP processes and how they are used in our Warehouse operation.

Responsibilities

• Filling customer orders with a very high level of accuracy.
• Perform assigned jobs efficiently.
• Ability to determine appropriate packaging needed for damage free shipping.
• Recognizes and reports inaccurate information on requests and orders.
• Ability to operate shipping equipment and software.
• Regularly participates in ensuring the accuracy of the inventory.
• Regular and consistent attendance in meeting a defined work schedule.
• Occasionally required to lift or move up to 75 pounds
• Assist with other duties as assigned within the department or elsewhere on request.
• Good driving record, may require operation of a truck for supply delivery.
