About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining accurate warehouse inventory and performing all related activities, including receiving, disbursement, inventory control, and other processes that support mining operations.

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts.
  • Ability to pass credit, MVR, and background checks.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, general safety practices, and environmental standards related to warehousing.
  • Knowledge of warehouse equipment and ability to operate forklifts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant warehouse or logistics experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of inventory control principles.
  • Proficiency with computers and relevant software applications.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, with or without mechanical assistance.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant coursework in logistics and/or supply chain management preferred.
  • Degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience with JD Edwards software is a plus.
  • Experience in the mining industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inventory, and stock all parts and supplies in the main warehouse and at remote locations.
  • Disburse parts and supplies from the warehouse using both manual and computerized systems to track inventory and cost codes.
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload parts and supplies.
  • Operate company vehicles to locate parts or pick up materials.
  • Interface with the Purchasing Department to order parts and track outstanding or undelivered orders.
  • Maintain custody and control of inventory.
  • Conduct periodic cycle counts and physical inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Process sales and purchase orders, and prepare miscellaneous forms used to order and track inventory.
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain price quotations, confirm delivery schedules, and coordinate returns.
  • Handle hazardous materials for storage and distribution.
  • Perform all job duties in accordance with MSHA and OSHA regulations, established company safety procedures, and applicable state and federal environmental regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and other applicable policies.
  • Record and enter weekly fuel consumption.
  • Record, input, and perform routine power meter readings.
  • Operate warehouse vehicles to pick up and deliver parts on a scheduled or as-needed basis, depending on operational requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
