We are seeking a dynamic Warehouse Technician/Spotter who will maintain and support warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials within our facility. The successful candidate will also assist with equipment and ground spotting to ensure a smooth workflow in the loading and unloading processes. Perform all inventory movements to include but not limited to staging ingredients and returning products from manufacturing lines, receiving, and outbound shipping. Organization and traceability must be a focus for food safety. This is a first shift role with regular working hours of Monday-Thursday, 6am-4pm.

Requirements

  • 2+ years ground spotting and forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is mandatory
  • Class A CDL preferred, but valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to do repetitive tasks, detail oriented, understanding of the food industry and safety standards
  • Exceptional grammar, writing, and documentation skills required.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to coach coworkers for enhanced adherence to policy
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking and a sense of urgency is a must

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Inventory Control Coordinator in the daily receiving and shipping of all products.
  • Record keeping for traceability on issuing and returning materials to the manufacturing lines.
  • Responsible for carrying out daily assignments following all established SOPs.
  • Safely maneuver trucks and trailers within the yard, ensuring minimal risk to personnel and equipment
  • Direct drivers to appropriate loading and unloading areas
  • Maintain clear communication with warehouse and transportation teams regarding truck arrivals and departures
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials and goods as needed
  • Ensure work is done with compliance to all food safety, sanitation, and safety policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to the daily inventory controls.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Our Home management.
