The company is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Technician II/Filter Press for a full-time, local position in Fontana, CA. As part of the employment screening process, all applicants who receive an offer of employment must pass a test for controlled substances in accordance with World Oil's Drug & Alcohol policy, with employment offers conditioned on a negative test result.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
  • Valid Drivers License required
  • Must be able to work 6:30 am - 2:30 pm Monday Through Friday (Saturday work with advance notice)

Nice To Haves

  • 40 Hour Haz-Woper Training preferred.
  • 2-4 years of related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees shipping and receiving operations.
  • Ensures accurate document/manifest processing.
  • Ensures accurate offloading of incoming waste to correct tanks.
  • Assists in maintaining certain tank inventories.
  • Conducts sampling and testing of loads to ensure compatibility and treatability of received waste.
  • Ensures all materials shipped from the facility meet specifications.
  • Performs shipping and receiving operations consisting of accurate document processing.
  • Unloads and assists in maintaining certain tank inventories.
  • Samples and tests loads.
  • Ensures all materials shipped from the facility meet specifications.
  • Prepares loading/unloading equipment for repairs ensuring safety of maintenance personnel.
  • Assists with terminal warehouse functions to include shipping and receiving.
  • Trouble shoot and repair defective parts washer units.
  • Receives and stages used oil filters and drums in designated processing units.
  • Performs visual inspections and Waste Analysis Plan (WAP) evaluations prior to transfer or processing.
  • Verifies container labeling, integrity, dryness, and conformity status.
  • Classifies containers as conforming or non-conforming and applies proper status labels.
  • Logs generator, manifest, container, and unit location data into required tracking logs and worksheets.
  • Transfers conforming materials between Units in accordance with SOP requirements.
  • Operates drum tipper, conveyor, crusher, and filter baler systems.
  • Removes debris and non-acceptable materials prior to crushing.
  • Processes filters through crushing and baling cycles to produce metal cubes/bricks.
  • Monitors oil recovery trays and pumps recovered oil into properly labeled containers.
  • Performs WAP verification prior to recovered oil transfer or shipment.
  • Places crushed filter cubes into roll-off bins and records tracking information.
  • Ensures staging quantities remain within permitted capacity limits.
  • Flags, isolates, and reports non-conforming materials and supports generator notification procedures.
  • Maintains WAP logs, inspection logs, transfer logs, and roll-off bin records.
  • Performs Tank Farm Operator functions and other related duties as assigned.
