The Henderson mine and mill are located an hour apart, separated by the Continental Divide and a 15-mile conveyor system. The Henderson mine is an underground molybdenum mining operation approximately 42 miles west of Denver and 10 miles west of Empire, in operation since 1976. It consists of a large block-cave, underground mining complex feeding a concentrator with a current capacity of approximately 32,000 metric tons per day, producing about 15 million pounds of molybdenum per year. The Henderson mill is 15 miles west of the mine, between Dillon and Kremmling. Both sites are surrounded by US Forest Service land of the Arapaho National Forest, offering year-round outdoor activities. Employees required to work on-site are eligible for a $1,450 monthly housing allowance, provided they meet program guidelines. The Warehouse Technician I performs routine warehouse duties involving receiving, unloading, inventory, storing, movement, and distribution of goods and materials at the assigned site under direct supervision.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of related experience in warehousing, material handling / inventory or customer service.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Solid experience with computer skills in SAP, Microsoft Excel, Materials Management software.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of routine warehouse duties involving the receiving, unloading, inventory, storing, movement, and distribution of goods and materials at assigned site.
  • Receives, inspects, and unloads goods and materials and places into inventory.
  • Processes reservations and issues material to customers utilizing the systems as defined by the company.
  • Receives and reviews orders for goods and materials.
  • Reviews inventory records to determine availability.
  • Pulls requested items and stages for delivery.
  • Communicates with customers to notify if any possible delays are expected.
  • Updates warehouse management systems (WMS) as needed to maintain records of delivered items and remaining inventory.
  • Updates manual or automated inventory listings.
  • Operates a variety of light equipment, hand trucks and vehicles within a warehouse environment.
  • Delivers material to customers, captures proof of delivery signatures, and maintains a record of delivered items.
  • Performs cycle counting.
  • Perform other duties as required including housekeeping and safety related tasks.
