About The Position

The Level I Warehouse Technician will be responsible for entry level duties. The Level II Warehouse Technician is proficient in all Level I Technician duties and performs higher level responsibilities. The Level III Warehouse Technician is proficient in all Level I and Level II Technician duties and performs higher level responsibilities in the Warehouse as detailed below. Essential Functions: Level I · Pulls orders from pick sheets as prioritized on the order board. · Retrieves products from warehouse assisted by wireless handheld unit. · Delivers completed orders to packing desk or truck shipping area for shipping. · Operates small and large winders as directed. · Completes the Bill of Lading checklist for Freight Coordinator for truck orders. · Weighs, bands shrink wraps completed skids for truck orders. · Operates counting scale. · Restocks bins and pick locations as directed. · Performs miscellaneous duties including garbage and cardboard shredding. · Delivers Customer orders locally. · Follows all health/safety rules and best practices. · Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area. · Locks all exterior doors at the end of the day. · Plugs in forklifts for charging. · Performs all transactions in Sage or on wireless devices related to material Picking, Staging, and Transferring. · Navigates through time clock system to punch in and out daily and request time off. Level II · Completes all facets of small package (UPS/FedEx/eBay) orders including product retrieval, order checking, packaging, postage label printing, and eBay updating. · Completes all facets of truck orders including product retrieval, skid organizing, and packaging. · Checks truck orders for other Warehouse personnel. · Retrieves material from production departments and coordinates with the production departments on mixed orders. · Assembles Cable Assemblies for orders. · Navigates through Sage to complete all Sales Order allocations, Shipping, and BOM requirements. · Prints out shipping labels in UPS, Fed Ex and eBay. · Ensures that all shipments for the day are complete. · Arms and unarms the alarm system and has a building key for unlocking/locking the day. · Follows all health/safety rules and best practices. · Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Level III · Completes the Bill of Lading paperwork for truck orders. · Receives and inspects incoming products for domestic and import Purchase Orders. · Identifies and resolves issues with Sales Orders regarding items codes and quantities. · Evaluates stock levels and creates BOMs as needed to maintain desired levels. · Interprets and translates BOM production instructions and documentation. · Resolves inventory issues within locations in Sage. · Operates the horizontal test bed to complete all requested testing and associated certifications. · Splices purple plasma and synthetic rope for requested fabrications. · Fill in for Department Manager as needed for vacations or absences. · Follows all health/safety rules and best practices. · Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.

Requirements

  • Forklift certification, as needed based on role.
  • Ability to operate hand tools and various types of manufacturing equipment including swagers, presses, cable winders, shrink wrappers, hand trucks, and forklifts.
  • Strong math, reading and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with computers and related software including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required for Level I, II, and III.
  • Six months of experience in warehouse operations or manufacturing preferred for a Level I Technician.
