Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift Certification.
  • Working knowledge of computers and MS Office software.
  • Working knowledge of arithmetic and grammar.
  • Demonstrated ability to:
  • Follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in order to meet established deadlines.
  • Work as a team and/or independently.
  • Perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer a minimum of two (2) years' work experience
  • Logistics experience

Responsibilities

  • Prepare product for transport to customers by picking product, reviewing customer specs, follow procedures and complete QC checklists.
  • Escalate to Supervisor as needed for any performance or compliance issues.
  • Review customer specifications.
  • Operate material moving equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, etc.
  • Load and secure product (drums, totes, boxes, etc.) in freight containers.
  • Maintain strict compliance with mandatory Environmental and Safety regulations.
  • Immediately escalate concerns or potential problems to the Company’s management.
  • Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations
  • Follow 5S protocols
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse, including sweeping and disposing of packaging
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any issues for maintenance
  • Uphold all MLI policies and “MLI Code of Conduct.”
  • Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations.
  • Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required. It is the employee’s commitment to ensure that the Company’s actual practices and procedures are exercised as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support and sustain a high-performance team.
