Our work depends on you joining our team HOW A WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN FELLOW WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Position ships, receives and stores materials in a warehouse or storage facility. Receives and stores materials in a warehouse or storage facility in an organized manner and convenient location for removal when needed. Marks or tags articles as necessary for identification purposes. Retrieves stored material when requested, transports it to the requester, and returns material to storage as required. Develops and maintains effective warehouse storage practices that promote efficient storage, identification and retrieval. Maintains warehouse and shipping records and may use automated warehouse management system. Must operate hand and power equipment, including forklift, for material handling. Participates in special projects as required. Facilitate in the planning and execution of container loads including weight balancing and bracing. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Requirements

  • Education Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of related warehouse experience.
  • Security Clearance Level: Active Secret Clearance
  • Location: On Customer Site
  • US Citizenship Required
  • This is a hands-on position. Candidate must comfortable in an active warehouse environment using power tools, forklifts, pallets, jacks, saws, and/or drills.
  • DoD SkillBridge Eligibility: Has served at least 180 days on active duty
  • Can participate within the last 6 months of separation or retirement
  • Will receive an honorable discharge
  • Has taken any service TAP/TGPS
  • Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months
  • Received Unit Commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of the fellowship.
