About The Position

Menards Distribution Center is hiring immediately for Warehouse Team Members. These team members are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products into and out of the Distribution Center. We are looking for both full-time and part-time employees for various shifts, including 1st shift (approx. 6-7 am until 2-3 pm), 2nd shift (approx. 3-4 pm until 11 pm-12 am), and 3rd shift (approx. 10-11 pm until 6-7 am). Additional pay is available based on previous experience and education, with an extra $3/hr for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends.

Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older
• Warehouse experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Follow Menards safety policies and procedures
• Safely operate forklift or other machinery
• Work cooperatively and productively with other Team Members under little supervision
• Load trucks according to cubic weight, size and characteristics
• Provide outstanding service with attention to detail and completing tasks in a timely manner
• Maintain condition of work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.)
• Perform safety check of powered industrial vehicle prior to operation
• Locate product in warehouse using manifest or scanning system
• Use hand-held scanning equipment to add or subtract product from inventory
• Record quantity of product actually loaded onto manifest system
• Ensure accuracy of load by verifying quantity with computer inquiry screens
• Transport product from production/receiving areas using powered industrial vehicle
• Additional duties assigned by Distribution Center Management
