About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking and packing orders, printing labels, inspecting products, and utilizing specific equipment to prepare products for shipping and receiving. This role is crucial in meeting customer demands and ensuring timely order fulfillment.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No MHE experience required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of products are loaded.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Operate a forklift or order picker for picking orders as needed.
• Pack orders for shipment by parcel, less-than-truckload (LTL), and truckload (TL) carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Affix proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets, ensuring compliance with DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations.
• Report missing items or quality variances to the direct supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met, and execute and document quality inspections as per standard operating procedures.
• Participate in inventory and cycle counts as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Ensure the facility is inspection-ready at all times for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Communicate and report any incidents.
• Perform housekeeping duties as required.
• Undertake miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
