About The Position

The Warehouse Team Lead at Ryder is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves managing daily tasks related to loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving, while ensuring compliance with performance measurement guidelines. The position requires strong leadership skills to maintain a productive work environment and support team members in their duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
• Highly thorough and dependable with a good attendance record.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and forklift operation.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment, such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
