About The Position

Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Jupiter is looking for a new Warehouse Team lead to join our Contract logistic team. Under the direction of the General Manager, and/or the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Lead is responsible for the proper function of logistics activities under their direction in a manner consistent with company service, quality and cost objectives. The Warehouse Lead can be responsible for moving materials within the warehouse and the loading/unloading of materials onto or from vehicles utilizing a forklift, reach truck, order picker or other heavy material handling equipment. The Warehouse Lead can be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping/manifesting, screening and other various duties as assigned to ensure the full and efficient operation of the warehouse.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment and 1 year in a lead/supervisory role
• Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Basic computer and math skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate unloading of inbound shipments
• Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork with associates and drivers to ensure that all product is properly counted
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage and errors
• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment
• Ensure that the work schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly
• Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion
