About The Position

The Warehouse Lead at Park Place Technologies plays a crucial role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, packing, and inventory management. This position involves training and guiding less experienced employees while ensuring compliance with shipping and receiving requirements. The Warehouse Lead acts as a subject matter expert in various areas and is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and organization within the warehouse.

Requirements

  • Three years' experience in a warehouse lead position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Hands-on PC and WMS experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work according to customer requests and shipping schedules.
  • Reliable with a high level of concentration while handling multiple requests.
  • Detail-oriented team player with a good attendance record.
  • Ability to problem solve and think on your feet.
  • Ability to communicate objectives for less senior employees.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Excel and familiarity with Astea software.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all duties of a Warehouse Specialist.
  • Give day-to-day direction to warehouse employees.
  • Direct warehouse employees in Supervisor's absence.
  • Assist in warehouse system tools/software implementation.
  • Take lead role as subject matter expert in areas such as LTL shipping and hazardous goods.
  • Train and guide less knowledgeable warehouse employees.
  • Ensure appropriate packaging and warehouse supplies are available.
  • Reconcile cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Assist in ensuring RMA activity is current and accounted for.
  • Ensure priority orders are completed within the required timeframe.
  • Schedule freight pickups throughout the US and Canada.
  • Maintain warehouse inventory organization and cleanliness.
  • Interface directly with sales and customers coordinating equipment pickups/deliveries.
  • Complete all warehouse personnel cross-training in relevant areas.
