About The Position

Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate assigned operations Supervise, train, and mentor employees Ensure compliance with AS9100 and internal quality standards Monitor schedules and workflow to meet delivery targets Perform and oversee setup, operation, and troubleshooting in assigned area Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety culture Review work instructions, engineering drawings, and specifications Identify process inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams Support audits, inspections, and corrective actions Report production metrics and escalate risks or issues as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED (technical degree or certification preferred) 5+ years of experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing Previous leadership or lead-level experience in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of aerospace materials, processes, and tolerances Ability to read and interpret processes and procedures Working knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality systems Excellent communication and team leadership skills Preferred Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field Experience with CNC machining, composites, or aerospace assembly Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification Experience supporting AS9100 and ISO audits Skills & Competencies Leadership and team development Problem-solving and root cause analysis Attention to detail and quality focus Time management and prioritization Strong documentation and reporting skills Work Environment Manufacturing environment May require standing for extended periods and lifting up to defined limits Compliance with PPE and safety regulations required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (technical degree or certification preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing
  • Previous leadership or lead-level experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of aerospace materials, processes, and tolerances
  • Ability to read and interpret processes and procedures
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality systems
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with CNC machining, composites, or aerospace assembly
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
