About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Outbound Warehouse Team Lead to support 2nd shift distribution operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supporting daily outbound workflow, driving team performance, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring accurate and on-time shipment of customer orders. The ideal candidate has strong warehouse experience, proven leadership ability, and a solid understanding of distribution processes, inventory control, and material handling operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or supply chain operations
  • Prior experience in a lead or senior-level warehouse role preferred
  • Forklift certification and hands-on MHE experience required
  • Experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, procedures, and policies
  • Fluent in English (read, write, speak)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8+ hours per shift)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support day-to-day outbound warehouse operations
  • Monitor team productivity, quality, and performance metrics
  • Assign workflow and manage labor resources effectively
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety standards
  • Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, safety concerns, and non-conformances
  • Assist team members in resolving operational challenges
  • Partner with other shift leads to improve overall warehouse performance
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform all outbound functions including picking, packing, labeling, inspection, and shipment verification
  • Accurately complete Value Added Services (VAS) such as special labeling, packaging, documentation, and customer-specific requirements
  • Separate and stage completed shipments by carrier and service level
  • Operate material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts as needed
  • Conduct product inspections for damage and verify order accuracy
  • Maintain warehouse housekeeping and organization standards
  • Support other departments as needed
