About The Position

The Receiving Team Lead will directly interact with the receiving department team. The Receiving Lead is to ensure compliance of the procedure, and communicate goals, safety practices, and also provides ongoing guidance and support to the employees as they complete their action plans. The Receiving Lead will provide assistance and support to the Receiving Supervisor.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Must be in good standing with the company
Ability to read and understand pick tickets and labels written in English
Ability to use electronic devices
Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers quickly and accurately
Ability to follow detailed instructions
Detail oriented
Ability to work independently without close supervision
Ability to prioritize assignments in order to meet cut off times.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
Ability to learn or be trained on using power equipment: Order Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser, Pallet Jack, Electric Pallet Jack, Forklift, etc.
Willing to perform other duties as required
Able to work overtime if required

Responsibilities

Use a tablet and scanner to perform the job
Receive goods based on supplies packing list
Safely operate all warehouse equipment
Show up on time every day, ready to work with a positive attitude
Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
Follow directions of supervisors and mangers
Help reconcile and delivery discrepancies
Monitor receiving progress and process to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Provide assistance and guidance to the receiving team
Perform regular safety walks
Assess the root cause of receiving issues and help devise a plan of action for preventing similar future problems
