About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor will provide leadership and direction within the battery manufacturing and packaging facility while having accountability to safety, product quality, cost and delivery as it relates to receiving, inventory control, materials management and shipping.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Business, Logistics, Inventory Management with 2-3 years of experience or minimum 5-7 years of experience in similar role in lieu of degree
  • Experience working with inventory and Warehouse Management Software (WMS)
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Organizational and logistics skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the receipt, verification and systematic processing of all materials received into the plant
  • Verify packing lists to purchase orders to confirm correct item and quantity are received for the PO
  • Receive material into SAP and tag with barcode label
  • Provide direction for put-away process, scanning material to final location
  • Execute company direction on layout and process of material storage
  • Drive a culture of inventory control from systematic processing to physical movement of material
  • Ownership of executing MRP requests from offsite warehouses
  • Ownership of material movements into and out of the plant to and from external warehouses
  • Facilitate warehouse (internal and external) organization to drive FIFO and efficient material flow
  • Oversite for outbound shipments to DC
  • Oversee inventory cycle count process
  • Reconcile receiving and movement errors
  • Reconcile backflush
  • Drive improvements in Kanban process to reduce stockouts
  • Work with production management team to capture waste and verify consumption of raw materials flows through SAP
  • Other duties as assigned by plant management
