About The Position

Maintains receiving, warehousing and distribution operations under the guidance of the Manager of the Warehouse by coordinating, and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and one (1) to three (3) years’ experience in related field with at least one (1) year of supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Knowledge of warehousing processes & procedures
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
• Skill in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed
• Ability to meet physical requirements of position

Responsibilities

• Maintains receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by coordinating and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitory security procedures and protocols
• Manages records and documents as required by Warehouse Manager; provides reports as required
• Maintains assigned staff by training and providing on-going coaching; plans work duties, monitors and appraises job results in conjunction with the Manager of the Warehouse
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and presenting new design layouts to Warehouse Manager; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
