Supervise warehouse operations to ensure efficient processes, compliance, and team productivity

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or lead role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse systems
  • Ability to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and company box trucks
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated success leading teams to accomplish business goals
  • Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts
  • Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Availability to travel, domestically and internationally, up to 5%, sometimes with limited notice

Nice To Haves

  • 4 years’ experience in a supervisory or Lead role
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Visio
  • Proficiency in Oracle
  • Certified forklift trainer
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory control management

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with warehouse policies and procedures to maintain operational standards
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency, as approved
  • Direct, train and develop warehouse personnel to maintain a skilled, effective, and safety-focused team
  • Maintain warehouse safety and adherence to Environmental Health and Safety standards
  • Supervise the receiving, stocking and shipment of parts and equipment, ensuring accurate and timely reporting into Oracle EBS (including spares)
  • Ensure FIFO compliance to maintain product integrity and proper inventory flow
  • Supervise the marshaling of parts, ensuring accuracy to work orders
  • Supervise the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials to other Business Units and 3rd party warehouses
  • Maintain accurate warehouse records and ensure all shipping, receiving, and documentation requirements are completed correctly
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by participating in and validating cycle counts and supporting physical inventory counts
  • Report warehouse equipment failures or inconsistencies to management
  • Bring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager
  • Give manager best advice
  • Give earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specified
  • Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager
