About The Position

Oversees daily preparation, inbound and outbound of material for the Field Operations team to provide support to the Field Repair, Field Maintenance and Bench Repair Teams. Manages the shipment schedule in advance to verify that proper supplies and equipment are prepared and ready for movement. Ensures all material movement is processed according to designed protocols. Help implement process improvements to enhance speed, accuracy, and efficiency. Monitor appropriate staff safety training protocols. Establishes and maintains effective communication and good working relationships with co-workers. Supports all shipping and receiving. Communicates pertinent information regarding materials at risk of depleting. Ensures integrity and compliance with all policies, control, procedures and standards including training programs. Assist staff with daily warehouse responsibilities and perform warehouse tasks during periods of high volume or staff shortages (ie PTO, Sick, etc). Capacity for making quick, intelligent decisions, and initiating appropriate actions. Works cross-functionally to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory and movement capabilities. Implements new materials related processes as well as changes to established processes. Support the development of standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory accuracy and capacities. Train and manage these expectations. Creates and implements corrective action plans for inventory discrepancies that may include systems, people and/or processes. Implements quality audits that uncover root cause issues that are not being addressed by the team. Oversees rotable pool management of critical assets. Collaborates with Procurement and Logistics teams to establish inventories and maintain adequate levels of materials. Supervises, coaches and trains warehouse workforce. Oversees physical inventory, replenishment and cycle counting, maintaining an efficient inventory flow with set inventory turns and service level KPIs. Ensures the security of high value items in a caged area of the warehouse. Demonstrates initiative and is self-motivated; strives to maintain a steady level of productivity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse/Distribution Lead or a similar role
  • Tech-savvy and systematic. You are comfortable using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track orders, manage inventory, and optimize workflow.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experienced in fast-paced warehouse environments
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

  • 3+ years experience a related area as an individual contributor
  • 2+ years supervisory experience
  • Previous experience operating a forklift and pallet jacks
