Warehouse Supervisor (1905)
About The Position
The IOTV Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the physical and virtual flow of raw materials for the IOTV Warehouse from receiving at the dock to issuing of goods to Production, maintaining real-time stock status data on the Great Plains Inventory Control system while ensuring accurate data entry into the BARTS system for government-furnished goods before transfer to Cutting. This includes 100% reconciliation of incoming goods against packing slip, submission of variance reports, entering receiving transactions into the Great Plains inventory control system, issuing raw materials to MOs, and reconciliation of data entry in BARTS.
Requirements
- Experience in an apparel manufacturing environment or the inventory control function of at least five years is required.
- Must be computer literate, including fluency in Microsoft Office and Great Plains. Excel proficiency is a must.
- Excellent analytical skills to plan production components through production plans.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Nice To Haves
- Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conducts physical reconciliation of incoming raw materials at the receiving area.
- Enters the receiving transaction in Great Plains.
- Produces variance report as applicable.
- Maintains the binning system for warehousing of raw materials.
- Supervises inventory control clerks and material handlers to ensure adherence to procedure.
- Is directly responsible for accurate data entry in BARTS.
- Reconciles issues of ballistic legacy materials against Cutting MOs.
- Other duties as assigned.
