Warehouse Supervisor
About The Position
Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including dock activity, shipping, and receiving Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and system updates Oversee inbound and outbound freight, ensuring proper documentation for domestic and international shipments Coordinate loading and unloading of trucks and containers, maximizing dock efficiency Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA standards Train, schedule, and lead warehouse staff to meet productivity and quality goals Collaborate with logistics, customer service, and supply chain teams to meet delivery timelines Monitor warehouse KPIs and implement process improvements Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safe operation of the warehouse and dock areas Troubleshoot shipping, inventory, or dock issues and escalate when necessary
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, including supervisory responsibility
- Strong experience with inventory management and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Proven experience running dock operations, including shipping and receiving
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes and documentation
- Ability to operate or oversee operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse environment
