Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the following. Overseeing ABC cycle counts execution and general warehouse KPIs. Managing shipping and receiving warehouse activities to include prompt PO handling within 24h or less. Staff safety training and PPE compliance particularly with ESD and COMSEC materials. Support with onboarding new staff and coaching current employees. Daily monitoring of warehouse activities and flexing labor as necessitated by the operations.

Requirements

• Ability to quickly learn operational procedures, new software, and technical subjects.
• Provent leadership track record to include employee performance.
• 5+ years minimum of experience in warehouse and Inventory management.
• Independent decision-maker willing to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Open to work off hours in support of production shifts when necessary
• Clear and concise verbal communication skills
• Open to obtaining security clearance
• Physical Requirements – standing, lifting, etc.
• Ability to work full-time in office

Responsibilities

• Lead the Warehouse team consistently exhibiting professional behavior and system knowledge while aiding others with developing internally.
• Serve as a 1st point of escalation for the current staff and work to independently resolve bottlenecks in operations.
• Help lead and participate in Kaizen and PI activities respective to materials management.
• Coordinate with the Production Planning team to ensure Work Orders are kitted within 48h or less.
• Liaise with the Production Floor staff to ensure proper material support is provided to ensure continuous and uninterrupted operations.
• Take ownership of Inventory Accuracy by implementing standard material management practices.
• Keep team focused on priorities, outcomes, and mission.
• Solicits feedback for improvement opportunities.
• Other Duties as Assigned.
