Requirements

Understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in warehouse
Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies
Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Drug Screening will be REQUIRED
Forklift certificate will be REQUIRED
Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.
High School diploma or equivalent required
Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager/Supervisor
2+ years of experience working with cooler/freezer storage

Nice To Haves

BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration preferred.
Bilingual Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance
Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
Communicate job expectations and coach employees
Determine staffing levels and assign workload
Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
