Learn more at www.plzcorp.com/careers or visit https://youtu.be/XYNIFpLQIJY The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day operations on the warehouse floor including shipping, quality, receiving and line supply. The Warehouse Supervisor is expected to uphold and comply with all SOPs, corporate and site-specific policies, safety and work rules and OSHA standards. Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring quality products by implementing/upholding GMP standards and regulatory statutes to produce cosmetics, as well as meet and/or exceed customer requirements. The Warehouse Supervisor is a member of the Leadership Team and is expected to conduct themselves as such.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ prior experience in a similar role.
• A Minimum of 2 years leadership experience
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Required WMS experience, preferred knowledge of SAP
• Good math and technical skills.
• Office equipment experience
• Strong understanding of quality control standards.
• Ability to train, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and laboratory equipment.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide directions to all warehouse associates.
• Ensure all team members receive adequate training, according to guidelines for safety, equipment and regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse; meeting the standards set by PLZ and the Indianapolis site for general cosmetics/personal care products processing including but not limited to: Personal Hygiene, Allergens, Sanitation, HACCP and adherence to quality guidelines.
• Maintain forklifts including daily inspections, watering and cleaning.
• Maintain RF scan guns.
• Ensure production lines are properly supplied.
• Maintain “bus stop” area.
• Flexible schedule based on business need
• Ensure warehouse associates are following all safety policies and SOPs.
• Ensure all daily receiving, line supply, inventory and shipping responsibilities are completed both physically and systematically
• Other duties as assigned
