For this third shift Warehouse Team Leader position, you will supervise and coordinate warehouse activities for incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure a smooth flow of raw materials to the production lines for a variety of canned goods brands. You will verify and maintain records of shipments, oversee processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, and lead a team engaged in lifting, transporting, and loading materials. You will schedule work for inventories, determine work procedures, prepare schedules, and drive workflow efficiency. Expected Hours: Approximately 9pm-6am Monday-Friday (and some weekends as needed) Your Impact • Coordinate warehousing operations and production needs • Maintain timely loading, unloading, and scheduling of product or ingredients to meet plant and corporate objectives • Oversee shipping and receiving operations to ensure efficient handling of raw materials and customer orders • Establish and maintain warehousing rotation and hold programs • Audit inventory periodically for accuracy and obsolete product • Enforce the plant’s safety program, including good GMP practices • Monitor warehousing areas and employees to eliminate hazards and unsafe acts • Monitor equipment, submit work orders for repairs, and recommend changes for safe operation • Train individuals on safety procedures, including forklift and hand jack operation, loading, and trailer operation • Train, motivate, and monitor performance of warehousing employees; recognize good performance and take corrective action when needed • Drive initiatives to reduce cost through labor controls, damage reduction, and implementation of new methods and tools to improve productivity
