About The Position

A Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the organization, delivery, and inventory of all products within Typhoon Texas Waterpark. This includes receiving and checking all food, beverage, paper, alcohol, and chemical products to ensure accuracy and quality. They ensure daily product rotation and maintain proper stock levels at all Food and Beverage locations throughout the park. Warehouse Supervisors coordinate timely deliveries to each Food and Beverage location as requested and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by properly storing items, keeping aisles clear, and following established safety protocols. They also help train and develop Warehouse Team Members, ensuring everyone adheres to all relevant health and safety standards. They are organized, efficient, and committed to creating moments worth repeating for every guest.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have or obtain a valid Food Handler’s permit and TABC certification.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing between up to 70 pounds as part of daily responsibilities.
  • If operating a forklift, must be willing to learn and operate it in accordance with Typhoon Texas policy.
  • May be required to work in various weather conditions, including direct sunlight, high temperatures, or rain.
  • Must be able to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to communicate in a positive and professional manner and work well with others.

Responsibilities

  • Assign team members checklists, cleaning tasks, and areas for each shift.
  • Ensure team members complete daily checklists and cleaning tasks, as well as weekly deep cleaning and organizational tasks.
  • Ensure team members receive breaks in accordance with applicable labor laws, and that breaks are documented properly.
  • Assist the Warehouse manager with scheduling, including generating, reviewing, and publishing schedules in compliance with labor laws and budget guidelines.
  • Receive all product deliveries and check invoices to verify the correct items are being delivered.
  • Inspect the quality of delivered products and notify appropriate management if they do not meet standards.
  • Ensure products are put away in a timely and efficient manner, prioritizing temperature-sensitive products.
  • Organize inventory using FIFO (first in, first out) to ensure proper product rotation.
  • Deliver products from the warehouse to Food & Beverage locations as requested.
  • Ensure all revenue location requisition sheets are fulfilled promptly and accurately.
  • Safely transport CO2, nitrogen, dry ice, and other fragile or volatile materials in accordance with Typhoon Texas procedures.
  • Ensure all aspects of the inventory process for Food & Beverage products are completed on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Train team members to perform tasks safely and in accordance with departmental procedures.
  • Monitor product freshness and ensure all assigned Food & Beverage locations are properly stocked.
  • Monitor equipment functionality and report issues promptly.
  • Safely operate equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if trained and approved).
  • Ensure compliance with all health department, TABC, and local (city and county) food and alcohol regulations while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Ensure the warehouse and product storage locations are kept organized and accessible.
  • Communicate with Food & Beverage leadership to ensure products are handled properly and not wasted due to mishandling or spoilage.
  • Conduct audits to ensure team members are maintaining cleanliness standards and following regulatory and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Work with leadership to support efficient Food & Beverage operations, team member development.
  • Follow and enforce all Pyek Group and Typhoon Texas policies and procedures, including documenting and enforcing disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Proactively identify operational or equipment issues and collaborate with leadership to resolve them.
  • Embody Typhoon Texas’s moment making keys of intentionality, Texas-friendliness, safety, cleanliness, and fun throughout all departments.
  • Assist with additional responsibilities, roles, departments, or park locations as needed.
