About The Position

Pretium Packaging is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory and associated records. In addition to supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in receiving, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping and maintaining stock records in warehouse. Responsibilities: Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods. Organize and maintain inventory and warehouse area. Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy. Communicate job expectations and coach employees. Determine staffing levels and assign workload. Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems regarding shipments/logistics. Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status. Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices. Align warehouse operations with other departments such as customer service, production and maintenance. Schedule inbound and outbound shipments as necessary, load and unload trucks. Conduct weekly cycle counts on all finish goods and raw material, verify all counts are accurate as shown in the system. Maximize warehouse efficiency. Forecasting in warehouses means planning for future activity. This can mean allocating or managing space for inventory items with the help of other departments or external businesses. Supports the goals and objectives of Pretium Packaging, LLC through adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and work requirements for successful completion of all assignments, including overtime as necessary and other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
