About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping activities. This role ensures safety, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency while leading a team of hourly employees. The Supervisor will support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of warehouse experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving procedures, and warehouse material handling.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar WMS systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to make decisions, solve problems, prioritize assignments, and direct the workforce in a constantly changing environment
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills with the ability to drive change
  • Results-oriented with a focus on customer service
  • Skilled in Inventory Control, Facility Management, Warehouse Material Handling, Receiving/Shipping procedures and controls
  • MS Office (Excel / Word / Email) proficiency required
  • Regular and predictable attendance

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, including product receiving, storage, and outbound shipping.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through established processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices, and audit readiness.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members; conduct performance reviews and address issues promptly.
  • Track and report warehouse performance metrics (KPIs).
  • Support Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Report any risks or unsafe conditions immediately to management.
  • Directly supervises 15+ hourly employees in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
  • Responsible for scheduling, training, and enforcing company policies.
  • Ensures Labor Contract is followed by all employees, and reports any potential violation
  • Reviews performance for hourly employees and identify training needs
  • Reviews and issues disciplinary measures according to the Company Policy
