You will be planning, leading, organizing and controlling the plant's Dispensary operations for raw & packaging material to provide consistent quality ingredients to production in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Be accountable for the Warehouse Operations Plan, Coordinate & Manage Receipt/ Issue/ Disposal of raw/packaging materials and finished good inventories in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Deliver Inventory accuracy objectives and ensure Operational requirements are consistently applied while complying to all boundaries & requirements on a regular basis. Provide appropriate and properly maintained Materials handling/ movement equipment and facility to ensure safe and efficient operations. Achieve AM-Autonomous maintenance and PM-Progressive maintenance Step completion goals for warehouse equipment & SGA teams to eliminate losses & downtime. Lead optimum utilization of Warehouse space; conduct warehouse capacity plan review on a regular basis. Ensure storage and handling of all materials and finished goods adheres to standard palletizing, stacking and storage requirements. Manage and control the replenishment of stock at Distributor's warehouses, analysis of inventory movements, to ensure inventory level in the supply chain is at manageable level, and no run or overstock situation and product freshness in the trade. Develop & implement overhead budgets to define cost boundaries for an efficient warehouse operation. Ensure cost targets are met via efficient utilization of equipment, workforce and utilities. Monitor and control materials wastage and variance to generate productivity savings. Be accountable for strong governance & compliance requirements (warehouse audits, ISO, FSSC, Quality management system audits etc.) to be in place, Be a champion to meet and/or exceed Safety & Quality requirements and driving ownership among teams. Be Accountable for Talent, Capabilities & Engagement for the team and responsible for identifying and implementing critical levers to attract, retain & develop critical talent and build capability at all levels, technical and behavioral, to build a sustainable workforce profile for the future. Interface with key stakeholders internally & externally to develop and maintain effective relationships, Align priorities in order to deliver the company objectives and goals and maintain 100% compliance to standards, policies and local legal laws. This resource will be managing a team of 10 - 30 hourly unionized employees Develop team to solve day to day operational issues and reach short and long term performance goals Communicate cross functionally to assist team to solve operational issues The Front Line Supervisor will be accountable for an operations Unit and shares the supervision of hourly reports during the off shift. He or she will work with the hourly team to help them understand efficiencies, yields and costs, and to effectively utilize this knowledge in improving production efficiencies during their shift The incumbent will serve as a liaison with other teams in coordinating workflows within the plant. He or she will work with the hourly maintenance personnel to ensure machine and facility repair are complete and effective. The Front Line Supervisor will monitor and lead good Quality Assurance, GMP, HACCP, Allergen, sanitation and housekeeping practices. He or she will ensure the hourly team clearly understands Quality requirements and takes appropriate action for Q.A. decisions Support the Warehouse annual operational plans and targets to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, Engagement goals in line with the site Compelling business need. coach Line Leaders, cascade & communicate the plans and targets to employees to ensure alignment and understanding around priorities, focus and KPI's. Manages change/ transformation change/ transformation amongst the Operating teams in the implementation of IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma phase journey Role models Values and principles through effective coaching, mentoring and development of the team. Lead and be Accountable to establish a strong Governance to Review, Control Operational performance and Continuous Improvement plan and embed a zero loss mindset to constantly improve and deliver against best in class both internally and externally. Drive the Operating team to identify and manage improvements to technology, culture, capability and operating systems to deliver a best practice and reliable operation. Support all Warehouse standards, Governance, Compliance requirements (e.g. Corporate Quality, Food safety & GMP, Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Sustainability, Code of conduct, Policies & principles, Operational standards, Local legal requirements, Internal Audit norms, & other procedures updated from time to time) are in place, understood by all, and is regularly reviewed and monitored for effective implementation.
