About The Position

At SPAR we are hiring experienced Warehouse Supervisors to manage and oversee our Warehouse Teams. As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision, performance management, onsite training and orientation of new workers, and coaching to correct and ensure proper process and safety techniques are being followed. Requirements

High School degree or GED or equivalent experience
1yrs+ experience working in large scale warehouse or highly knowledgeable in warehouse operations as a supervisor
Or- 2yrs experience working as a warehouse lead
Experience in ALL areas of warehousing (shipping, receiving, picking/pulling, stocking, etc.)
Understanding of OSHA guidelines and warehouse safety measures
Excellent communication skills
Deep understanding of warehouse management systems/ inventory management systems
Smart Phone is required to sign in and out for your shift (not allowed in warehouse)
Reliable, safe and a team player
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Access to reliable transportation for all required shifts

Nice To Haves

Supervisor experience overseeing 35+ warehouse associates (Preferred)
Bilingual in English and Spanish a PLUS

Responsibilities

Attend all shift and trainings meetings
Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Provides day-to-day direction, supervision, and coaching to Workers
Ensure workers compliance with safety check list and the completion of new worker required documents
Performance/quality management and safety training
Ensure accurate processing of all merchandise to our stores and guests
Report to work on time and complete all job tasks as assigned accurately and on time
Engage in problem solving to support continuous improvement
Maintains positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment
Must comply with Dress Code, with the only permitted personal item in the work area being a clear water container
