About The Position

Supervise the shift associates to service our stores, process orders, maintain a safe work environment while achieving cost per case and cases per hour for assigned function.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Satisfactory performance reviews.
Effective communication skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
Working knowledge of distribution systems and procedures

Nice To Haves

Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with the Line Supervisor team to continue to develop job knowledge, technical and managerial skills.
Work in multiple locations to learn all warehouses and fill in for other supervisors when they are on PTO.
Assist in the assignment of duties to Lead Man, Selectors, Lift Operators, Freight Handlers, Janitors, and other shift associates.
Directly responsible for managing our safety audit programs and holding teammates accountable for their safety results.
Responsible for monitoring standards of productivity in assigned areas.
Ensure on time loading and load security/accuracy.
Enforce Warehouse and corporate policy and administer corrective action as outlined in policy and procedures manual.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all state and corporate sanitation guidelines (OSHA, FDA, EPA, and/or DOT).
Responsible for hiring and training of new associates.
Develop teammates in their current roles as well as preparing them for future new roles.
Adhere to all safety policies, procedures and best practices while performing tasks in a manner that always promotes safety.
Perform all other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
