About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor manages all day-to-day warehouse activities to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate movement of fiber cement products. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising personnel, coordinating operations, and maintaining a safe, well-organized warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience
  • 1-2 of experience with truckload and LTL shipping
  • Forklift certification (or the ability to obtain)
  • Working knowledge of SAP and basic computer applications (MS Office)
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, trucking processes, and material handling
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Operate a computer and standard office equipment.
  • Walk, stand, and move between indoor and outdoor work areas.
  • Operate a forklift for extended periods.
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, reaching, and climbing ladders.
  • Frequently push, pull, or carry items under 50 lbs; seldom 50 lbs or more.
  • Remain focused and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, distracting environment.
  • Ability to work overtime, extended shifts (including 12-hour shifts), and weekends as required.
  • Flexibility to adjust schedules to meet changing operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, staging, and shipping.
  • Unload inbound containers and load outbound trucks as needed to support operations.
  • Support truckload and LTL shipments by preparing and printing shipping paperwork and completing accurate, timely system transactions in SAP and Shipwell.
  • Maintain FIFO inventory practices; perform monthly cycle counts and support physical inventories.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment or corrective actions.
  • Order warehouse supplies, manage trash and recycling removal, and ensure overall facility organization.
  • Oversee forklift and material-handling equipment readiness, including basic inspections and coordination of maintenance.
  • Supervise, schedule, and direct warehouse employees to meet production and shipping requirements.
  • Train, coach, and hold employees accountable for performance, quality, and safety.
  • Foster teamwork and effective communication across warehouse, production, and logistics teams.
  • Maintain effective working relationships and service-oriented communication with internal departments.
  • Champion a strong safety culture for employees, contractors, and drivers.
  • Enforce all warehouse SOPs, safety policies, and PPE requirements.
  • Coordinate with drivers to ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and support continuous safety improvement efforts.
  • Loading and unloading trucks/containers with forklift
  • Cycle counting, inventory accuracy, and system transactions
  • General housekeeping, yard/warehouse organization, and safety-related tasks
  • Miscellaneous duties, including paperwork, coordination, and problem-solving
