About The Position

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will have the opportunity to work in a highly visible team where your entrepreneurial talent and resourcefulness will be well utilized and developed. Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree
Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
PC, Microsoft Office, and email skills
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Must be able to withstand the physical needs of job including heavy lifting, bending, and repetitive motions.
Willing to work more than 40 hours a week with occasional weekends
Ability to multitask while staying organized
Positive customer service skills

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of Electrical Contracting tools and materials a plus!

Responsibilities

Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
Plan work routes, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
Evaluation of power tools and equipment for repair
Directs salvage and return of used or unused electrical materials
Loading and unloading trucks by hand and forklift.
Oversee vehicles, warehouse building and grounds.
Perform general administrative tasks such as faxing, copying, filing, organizing, mailing, and document development.
