About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor has the responsibility and the accountability of assisting the Store Leader and Co-Leader with revenue growth and driving profitability of the store. The Warehouse Personnel fulfills responsibility by ensuring the Warehouse is successfully completing all operational tasks. The Warehouse Supervisor assists in the planning, motivating and coordinating the activities of the Warehouse Personnel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED): or one to three months related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of Warehouse experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • An ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to management, customers, clients and employees of the organization.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

  • Forklift Certification: Complete and obtain Forklift Certification within three (3) months from the first day of employment.

  • Continuous alertness and attention to detail, concentration and ability to perform mathematical calculations to produce accurate work
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with leadership and Store Personnel on time-sensitive matters.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds with the assistant of safety gears, equipment, or PPE, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with the assistant of safety gears, equipment, or PPE. Rarely lift up to 100 pounds, requiring assistance from PPE, tools and equipment for items over 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and monitor all warehouse functions: incoming inventory, customer orders, and delivery are processed and completed on a timely basis.
  • Ensure customer orders and deliver documents are reviewed and completed accurately
  • Meets with Store Leader and Co-Leader to develop monthly goals and objectives and reviews the actual performance of Warehouse Personnel.
  • Communicates Company Policies and Processes to all Warehouse Personnel and ensures that they are understood and followed.
  • Develop excellent communication skills and relationships with co-workers and Warehouse Personnel.
  • Participates in the annual and/or periodic store inventory events.
  • Ensure that work area is kept clean.
  • Enforces safety requirements, including but not limited to forklift training and operation, processing of SDS sheets on all products carried, and OSHA Right-to-Know.
  • Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that may affect parts sales.
  • Coordinates and ensure the Dispatcher schedules the most efficient route in delivering to customers and vendors.
  • Ensures daily delivery logs and pickups are accurately completed. Ensure recipient signatures are properly recorded for all deliveries.
  • Ensures Delivery Vehicles are unloaded properly at the close of business.
  • Ensures all paperwork is properly processed and undelivered parts are stored at the close of business each day.
  • Ensures inventory designated for store transfer is processed efficiently, effectively, and in a timely manner.
  • Ensures inventory is received and processed in a effectively, efficiently, and timely manner, and invoiced as per Company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures mandatory manufacturing, safety compliance, and cybersecurity training of Warehouse Personnel are completed in a timely manner.
  • Proficient with PCH testing and machine equipment to meet the clients’ needs. Ensures Warehouse Personnel are trained on testing and machine equipment.
  • Ensure that the Warehouse is stocked properly. Communicates in a timely manner with the Store Leader when inventory runs low.
  • Ensure all Daily Vehicle Checklists are completed in a timely manner and per Store protocols.
  • Ensures all vehicles are properly maintained including checking and filling the tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean by washing the vehicles, and ensuring the required vehicle inspections have been completed before the expiration date.
  • Ensures the Forklift is maintained, and all safety protocols are adhered to by Warehouse Personnel.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the Warehouse.
  • Ensure pallets, boxes, inventories are properly received, stored, put away or stocked in their proper bins, and updates inventory system.
  • Attends mandatory management meetings.
  • Maintains professional appearance and hygiene; Ensure work uniform and name badge are always worn.
  • Completes and remains current with all mandatory manufacturing, safety compliance, safeguards, and cybersecurity training.
  • Supervises day-to-day tasks of Warehouse Personnel
