Job Overview: The Fulfillment Center Supervisor oversees and works to improve the daily tasks of Fulfillment Center Associates according to specific goals. Supervises and offers leadership to subordinates in accordance with the organizations policies and guidelines. Responsible for the safety and productivity of hourly associates. Build talent, align cross-functional partners, and create a culture of safety, clarity, and continuous improvement while meeting service and quality goals. Responds decisively under pressure; prioritizes, assigns, and resolves problems with measurable impact. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems as needed.

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal skills: ability to communicate with diverse personalities.
  • Experience selecting, developing, training, counseling, and rewarding employees.
  • 3 + years in a supervisory role within a fulfillment and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with WMS/RF and basic spreadsheets; comfortable with operational dashboards.
  • The ability to make decisions, solve problems, prioritize assignments, and direct the workforce in an ever-changing, warehouse environment.
  • Must have strong communication skills and needs to be a confident communicator, problem solving, analytical abilities, and be a self-starter.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise fulfillment center associates in day-to-day tasks with the inbound processes, receiving, replenishment and put away.
  • Ensures the overall Safety, Quality, and Productivity of a shift of up to 50 hourly associates.
  • Manage multiple priorities against tight deadlines by maneuvering the workforce to meet the workload.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, replenishment and put away goals are met.
  • Supervise safety programs in warehouses that include meetings, training and record keeping standards are met or exceeded.
  • Encourage open communication with staff and pursue process improvements and efficiencies while maintaining a positive, results-oriented work environment in the warehouse.
  • You must be self-directed and able to work on your own, have strong attention to detail, great communication skills, the capability to analyze reports and information to improve processes and business outcomes.
