About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe handling of inventory, shipments, and personnel. This role is responsible for leading warehouse staff, optimizing workflows, maintaining inventory integrity, and upholding safety and compliance standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead roles
  • Experience with WMS systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong leadership and cross departmental communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to operate warehouse machinery (certification preferred).
  • Proficient with inventory systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, ERP.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and storage.
  • Monitor workflow to maintain high levels of accuracy, productivity, and on-time fulfillment.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, etc.).
  • Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse associates.
  • Assign tasks, set priorities, and manage daily staffing requirements.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts through routine cycle counts and audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Work closely with purchasing, production, and logistics teams to ensure inventory accuracy and availability
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with all regulations.
  • Conduct or coordinate regular safety meetings and training.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend operational improvements.
  • Support implementation of warehouse technology, automation, or system upgrades.
  • Track KPIs such as order accuracy, shipping timeliness, and inventory variances.
