About The Position

The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is currently hiring the following for a long-term position in the Beaumont, Texas area: WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR Position Summary: The Warehouse (WHSE) Team Lead is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure safety, compliance, accuracy, cleanliness, and uninterrupted material flow to support production requirements.

Requirements

Strong understanding of warehouse operations and material handling practices
Knowledge of SAP or ability to be trained
Demonstrated ability to lead by example and enforce company policies
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all time.
This positions requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe, efficient manner.
The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required.
All qualified applicants must be craft certified or possess the ability to pass a craft test, as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen and other qualifications as required.

Responsibilities

Ensure all warehouse policies, procedures, and work instructions are consistently followed
Enforce all safety rules and ensure employees work in a safe manner at all times, including proper use of PPE
Conduct daily toolbox meetings to review safety topics, job hazards, and operational expectations, ensuring proper employee participation and sign-off
Assist with and ensure all employees actively participate in the Mundy Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) program
Verify that all employees accurately sign in and sign out on the designated sign-in sheet and complete time sheets correctly and on time
Run and review the IP report in SAP to ensure adequate material availability for bale hog operations
Monitor scrap material accumulation and coordinate outbound shipments when full loads are achieved
Monitor plastic bale inventory and schedule shipments once full loads are accumulated
Conduct daily warehouse audits to identify and correct broken cans, mis-binned material, and mislabeled inventory
Perform daily inspections of the back pad to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper material storage
Oversee plastic waste management and maintain overall warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards
Communicate operational issues, safety concerns, and material shortages to supervision in a timely manner
