About The Position

The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is currently hiring the following for a long-term position in the Beaumont, Texas area: WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR Position Summary: The Warehouse (WHSE) Team Lead is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure safety, compliance, accuracy, cleanliness, and uninterrupted material flow to support production requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and material handling practices
  • Knowledge of SAP or ability to be trained
  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example and enforce company policies
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all time.
  • This positions requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe, efficient manner.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required.
  • All qualified applicants must be craft certified or possess the ability to pass a craft test, as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen and other qualifications as required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all warehouse policies, procedures, and work instructions are consistently followed
  • Enforce all safety rules and ensure employees work in a safe manner at all times, including proper use of PPE
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings to review safety topics, job hazards, and operational expectations, ensuring proper employee participation and sign-off
  • Assist with and ensure all employees actively participate in the Mundy Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) program
  • Verify that all employees accurately sign in and sign out on the designated sign-in sheet and complete time sheets correctly and on time
  • Run and review the IP report in SAP to ensure adequate material availability for bale hog operations
  • Monitor scrap material accumulation and coordinate outbound shipments when full loads are achieved
  • Monitor plastic bale inventory and schedule shipments once full loads are accumulated
  • Conduct daily warehouse audits to identify and correct broken cans, mis-binned material, and mislabeled inventory
  • Perform daily inspections of the back pad to ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper material storage
  • Oversee plastic waste management and maintain overall warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards
  • Communicate operational issues, safety concerns, and material shortages to supervision in a timely manner
