About The Position

Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and pulling orders Train, mentor, and coach warehouse staff to ensure they are performing their duties efficiently and effectively Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock levels are maintained at all times Implement and enforce warehouse health and safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment Communicate with other departments to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise Perform regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes Requirements: High School diploma required 3-5 years related supervisory experience in a warehouse environment Knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and warehousing best practices Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills Strong Computer Skills - Outlook, Word, Excel,, and automated inventory controls systems Forklift experience preferred Organizational skills 1. Ability to organize and maintain product in warehouse with a standardized process that is maintainable and easy to follow Leadership skills 1. Ability to effectively manage employees and praise/discipline when necessary 2. Ability to conduct performance reviews 3. Ability to effectively lead a team meeting Communication skills 1. Ability to talk to customers and employees with confidence 2. A strong sense of follow up with relevant information related to product or processes 3. Talking with salesmen/customers on job-site status (i.e. is garage clear and do we have the ability to back a box truck up to garage for unloading) Strong work ethic 1. Ability to get “hands dirty” when necessary 2. Self-motivated 3. Strong initative Strategic planning 1. Ability to determine operational plans 2. Identifying vendor shipments and developing plan for procurement of product in warehouse 3. Determining most efficient routes for product on outbound shipments Company focused mindset 1. Requirements

  • High School diploma required
