About The Position

Balanced Body is the global leader in Pilates equipment and education. We are seeking a hands-on, high-integrity Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Sacramento-based logistics team. This is a role for a Gemba-focused leader—someone who thrives on the warehouse floor, driving efficiency, mentoring staff, and ensuring our products reach customers worldwide with absolute precision. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of warehouse management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (hard goods/discrete manufacturing preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years managing people, including a proven track record in hiring, performance management, and team motivation.
  • Required experience in international shipping and export document preparation.
  • Proficiency with large ERP systems (Business Central experience is a plus) and MS Office.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift and obtain certification.
  • Must be physically capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Train-the-Trainer experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct Supervision: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing warehouse team, taking responsibility for overall performance.
  • Talent Management: Manage the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, interviewing, and training new hires to support operational needs.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all employees adhere to safety protocols and company policies while maintaining a clean, organized facility.
  • Workflow Optimization: Oversee all daily shipping, receiving, and storage activities. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with Production and Sales to ensure the efficient flow of materials and fulfillment of production orders.
  • Inventory Integrity: Maintain rigorous inventory controls, including cycle counts, resolving discrepancies, and implementing long-term solutions.
  • Shipping & Freight: Coordinate with the Logistics Coordinator and third-party carriers (FedEx, LTL, FTL, and International Containers).
  • International Logistics: Ensure timely and accurate processing of waybills and international export documentation.
  • ERP Management: Utilize ERP systems and MS Office (Outlook/Excel) for order processing and data management.
