About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating daily warehouse functions, ensuring that inventory is handled safely, accurately, and efficiently. This role provides hands-on leadership to warehouse associates, enforces safety and compliance standards, and maintains smooth workflow across all shipping, receiving, putaway, and fulfillment activities. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, and able to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Requirements

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • Minimum 3+ years of warehouse supervisory or leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and FIFO inventory practices
  • Proficient with WMS platforms (SnapFulfill preferred) and RF scanners
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and hold team members accountable
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach for extended periods
  • Capable of safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and related warehouse equipment

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Performance Management: Oversee daily attendance, monitor staffing levels, and communicate updates to management and staffing partners
  • Address performance or attendance concerns proactively through coaching and follow-up
  • Facilitate daily team huddles to assign tasks, share priorities, and review operational updates
  • Promote a positive, problem-solving culture that encourages teamwork across all departments
  • Safety & Compliance: Uphold and enforce all company safety policies and warehouse guidelines
  • Lead daily toolbox talks, document discussions, and escalate safety issues when needed
  • Maintain a hazard-free workspace and monitor for near-misses or unsafe behaviors
  • Inventory Control & FIFO Execution: Ensure all inventory handling follows proper FIFO methods to protect product quality
  • Oversee inventory movement and storage to prevent errors, loss, or quality issues
  • Immediately address and report deviations from established inventory procedures
  • KPI & Operational Reporting: Record, track, and update daily KPIs, including workflow bottlenecks and open orders
  • Conduct quick daily metric reviews to align team priorities
  • Provide accurate KPI summaries to leadership to drive operational decisions
  • Work Order Coordination: Review and monitor WO/RBI/RBS progress throughout the day
  • Communicate potential delays and present corrective action or recovery plans
  • Assist the team as a hands-on working supervisor when needed
  • Ensure proper use of scanners and SnapFulfill WMS for accurate task tracking and documentation
  • Systems & Technology: Maintain strong proficiency in SnapFulfill WMS and RF scanners for receiving, putaway, picking, inventory control, and shipping
  • Train warehouse associates on system use and ensure full compliance with digital workflows
  • Communication & Cross-Department Support: Provide clear, daily written updates summarizing meeting outcomes, work order statuses, and risk mitigation plans
  • Confirm interdepartmental requests through Slack/email and keep management informed
  • Schedule follow-ups when issues arise to ensure actions are completed
  • Collaborate closely with production, logistics, and warehouse teams to prevent workflow interruptions
