Summary/Objective: This position will supervise and coordinate activities of Warehouse Associates and Department Leads engaged in all forms of warehouse activity. This position will report to directly to the Warehouse Manager. Essential Functions Oversee Department Leads and assist with overall warehouse responsibilities within assigned shift Assist with warehouse staffing including the hiring and termination processing Responsible for monitoring budgeted expenses Assure each department within the shift has the direction needed to complete daily tasks Work with Department Leads and Warehouse Associates to resolve any issues or conflicts Oversee all warehouse operations in absence of Warehouse Manager Responsible for the overall operation of the warehouse and will report all activity to the Warehouse Manager Follow all safety rules and company policies and ensure that all personnel in the department adhere to the rules Other Duties and Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned Working Conditions: Primarily working indoors, office environment. May sit for several hours at a time. Prolonged exposure to computer screens. Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in shipping in a manufacturing environment and 2 years' experience in a Lead Role.
  • High School Diploma
  • Basic computer skills necessary
  • Maintain clean and organized work space
  • Ability to work and handle multiple job assignments
  • Ability to communicate within a team setting
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, push, pull, reach above shoulders, fine repetitive motion, bend, stoop, climb ladder, ability to lift 50 pounds continuously for long periods of time up to 8 hours per day
  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

  • 2-year degree in manufacturing-related field
